Time Travel

While my non-teaching hours have been occupied by Connie Willis’s thrilling pair of novels about time-traveling historians caught in the London Blitz — Blackout and All Clear — we’ve finally hit historical non-fiction in my seminar. Today’s readings included Steve Sheinkin’s Bomb and the eerily compelling Written in Bone, plus one of my all-time favorites, A Long Way from Chicago.. Kat decided we needed to try Nehi to enhance our understanding of the novel. It comes in peach.
