Thawing

When a storm like we’d not seen for fifty years was predicted, I thought I’d wind up with as many photos as snowflakes, documenting the wintery wonder of it all. The storm, aside from the arctic aftermath of below zero temperatures, wasn’t all it was predicted to be. The intense cold meant I stayed indoors for days. The result? A single picture at the foot of the deck, proving someone else was out and about in the cold.
