A Whirl Wind Road Trip Slows to a Drizzle

Two conferences, two campuses, and two papers later ….  It’s raining. The preparations and the presentations and the driving have been exhausting.  Leaving the hotel hadn’t made it anywhere near the top of my priority list, after all the work of getting here.  Then there was a dinner out — away from where we’ve been listening to talks and drinking coffee any time someone stopped talking.  It was raining, and we walked through this campus garden anyway, because it was beautiful.
