Where I’ve Been

The effects of a hard drive failure late last term continue to ripple into this one, as do a series of scheduling mishaps and a month that seems to be a magnet for time sensitive demands.  Result?  Scrambling to make deadlines, and when down time comes, I’m just flat.  There are at least four significant deadlines and meetings before the end of February.  In between the blur, I’ve been knitting with friends …

Visiting friends who make divine coffee and own an orange cat named Xylo …

Seeing the traveling Sendak exhibition at a local library …

Visiting with recent graduates who come back to share their special knowledge with students, sometimes with mementoes, too ….

And basking in the return of the sun …
